Liverpool could still reportedly part ways with as many as six players before the deadline on Tuesday night.
Despite being relatively inactive in the window so far, there is still time for everything to change prior to the 11:00pm cut off.
The Reds have only added Ibrahima Konate to Jurgen Klopp’s squad following a turbulent season last time out.
Instead, the club has focussed on departures as well as key contract renewals.
That could all change in the final 48 hours according to a report from The Mirror, as cited on Twitter, claiming a host of fringe players are still in danger of being moved on.

The report claims out of favour striker Divock Origi, Sheyi Ojo, Neco Williams, Loris Karius, Nat Phillips and Rhys Williams could all ‘still leave’ Anfield this month.
Both Phillips and Williams played leading roles last season as Klopp’s side were decimated by injury, but neither have featured since the return of Virgil van Dijk, Joe Gomez and Joel Matip.

In truth, were any or all six of the aforementioned players to depart, few Kopites could have many objections.
Albeit a replacement would need to be sought for right-back Williams in particular, all are seemingly some way off playing a part in Klopp’s plans.
Perhaps the most important sale remains that of Origi, as the Belgian could trigger a potential arrival were there to be time left in the window.
Ultimately, the Reds must find suitors for the likes of Phillips, Karius and Ojo at least or run the risk of paying the wages of relatively experienced players unlikely to make an impact.
