Former Premier League midfielder Jamie O’Hara has been lauding Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah following another superb goal.
The 29-year-old netted a wondergoal as the Reds dismantled Watford 5-0 over the weekend.
Asked whether Salah had upped his level from previous seasons on talkSPORT (October 18 9:20am), O’Hara was adamant little had changed.
I feel like he’s always been this player. If you look at the records he’s broken in the Premier League, he’s broken so many. I think people are just taking more note now about how good he actually is. He’s probably the best player in the world right now. I don’t think there is anyone playing at his level and because he’s scoring these individual goals which are sensational, you stand up and take note. But I think he’s always been great.
So far this season the Egyptian has scored 10 times and registered four assists in 10 appearances across all competitions.
That form as earned Salah a remarkable 7.83 Sofascore rating from eight Premier League outings.

For once a pundit not associated with the club would appear to be giving Salah due praise and attention for form prior to this season.
The suggestion that the £90million valued superstar has only recently struck a purple patch is wildly inaccurate.
Ever since arriving on Merseyside the former Chelsea ace has been a revelation for Jurgen Klopp’s side and this term could be still be the best yet.
