There is no word on how serious the injury is at this time, but it’s a real possibility that Jurgen Klopp will be without another centre-forward for the near-future at least, as Benteke becomes the third Reds striker to suffer a knee injury.

Danny Ings will miss the rest of the season with a torn ACL, while Daniel Sturridge is still recovering from a knock in training that left fluid on his knee.
Benteke, who scored in Liverpool’s 1-1 draw against Southampton, was only just on his way back to full fitness, but will once again face a spell on the sideline.
According to Chris Bascombe of the Telegraph, Liverpool were relieved to find that the injury wasn’t as bad as first feared when Benteke was sent for a scan.
The injury is not considered to be a serious one, but the Belgian won’t feature in the Capital One Cup game, and is a doubt to face Chelsea on Saturday.
