Liverpool host Paris Saint Germain on Tuesday night in the week’s marquee matchup in the Champions League.
The game will be the first meeting between the two sides for over 20 years – they last met in the semi-final of the now-defunct Cup Winners Cup.
Liverpool won that game, played in April 1997, 2-0 but unfortunately, the Reds were knocked out 3-2 on aggregate after a 3-0 loss in Paris a fortnight earlier.
