Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has recalled winger Ryan Kent from his loan deal at Coventry City, at least temporarily, according to Andy Turner of the Coventry Telegraph.
Klopp apparently wants to take a closer look at the youngster and has decided to bring him back to Melwood.
However, this does not mean the deal is terminated, it is just Klopp’s way of getting to know the club’s youngsters better.
The 18-year-old joined Coventry on loan in September and scored his first goal for the Sky Blues at the weekend against Barnsley.
Kent was a mainstay in Liverpool’s Under-21s side last season and caught the eye of former first-team manager Brendan Rodgers, who rewarded him with a place on the Reds’ pre-season tour of Asia and Australia.

The move to Coventry gave Kent his first taste of senior football, albeit in League One.
Coventry boss Tony Mowbray spoke highly of the young winger earlier this season when he first joined his side, lauding him for the potential impact he thought the England U20 man could have on his team.
He’s a young boy who has got a bit of pedigree because you know when they come from a big club that they’ve had a good upbringing.
