There’s always huge interest in Liverpool’s kits when they are released. Fans from all over the world like to represent their team by purchasing the new kit and usually, the design of the new strip is kept top secret.
However, images have been circulating on social media which appear to show exactly what he 2016/17 home kit looks like.
The kit, created once again by New Balance, is red (obviously!) with yellow piping and lettering, which is a move away from the white used on recent kits.
The goalkeeper kit, as worn by Simon Mignolet in the image, is lime green and black with white lettering.
Time will tell if the image is genuine, but it certainly looks like it is.
There has still been no official confirmation from Liverpool as to when their new kit is going to be launched, although previous kits have tended to be launched prior to the season’s end.
