Liverpool are contemplating a move for Queens Park Rangers goalkeeper Robert Green, according to Simon Johnson of the Evening Standard.
The Reds have already signed centre-back Steven Caulker on loan from the west London club this month, and it is now being suggested that they are set to raid the Championship side again.
The report claims that Bournemouth and Crystal Palace are also interested in the England international who has played 25 games this season, keeping nine clean sheets.

While Green, 36, would be an upgrade on Liverpool’s current backup ‘keeper Adam Bogdan, it is unlikely that he would provide sufficient competition for Belgian shot stopper Simon Mignolet, the Reds’ current first choice.
Mignolet, who has signed a new contract on Merseyside, has struggled for form this season, but manager Jurgen Klopp has stood by the 27-year-old.
One of Liverpool’s best ever goalkeepers, Bruce Grobbelaar, is one of many to have criticised Mignolet since his arrival from Sunderland in 2013.
