As Liverpool fans, we all know how frustrating the transfer window can be. Sure, the Reds have signed some quality players in recent years, but they’ve also made huge errors and have also seen reported targets decide to turn down a move to Anfield in favour of a move elsewhere.
Jurgen Klopp has already made a few signings this summer but there’s likely to be a couple of more additions in the next few weeks.
But who do the fans want to see the Reds sign?
We asked the followers of our site’s Twitter account, @ReadLiverpoolFC, for realistic suggestions. We simply asked if Liverpool could only sign one player between now and August, who would the fans want?
To say the replies were a bit of a mixed bag is an understatement, here are just a selection of names that were mentioned:
Someone like Jonas Hector
