Reports coming out of Seville-based newspaper Diario de Sevilla claim Liverpool have offered Real Betis and Spain Under-21 midfielder Dani Ceballos a contract ahead of a potential transfer.
It’s unclear if the deal would go through this window – and, similar to Divock Origi’s purchase last season, Ceballos would return to Real Betis for the season with the starlet joining Liverpool next June – or if Liverpool would wait until the winter or next summer to officially sign him.
The Spanish report says that Real Betis will be forced to sell for his release clause at £8.5m and Ceballos will sign a £1.1m contract.
They even go as far as to say that Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers has offered the current Real Betis man a car and a house.
Ceballos only turned 19-years-old on August 18 and has drawn comparisons to Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas.
At the tender age of 18, he made his debut last season and played in an impressive 35 games for Betis.
Diario de Sevilla report that Roma are keen on the player as well, while the Express have noted Arsenal’s apparent interest.
