Goalkeeper Danny Ward will train at Melwood today after Jurgen Klopp decided to recall the 22-year-old from his loan spell at Aberdeen, as reported by James Pearce of the Liverpool Echo.
Whilst it is highly unlikely that Ward will replace Simon Mignolet as the starter for the Reds, there is a possibility that he can leapfrog Adam Bogdan for the backup ‘keeper role after the Hungarian has made two big errors in his last two starts, which have tarnished what had originally been a positive start to his Liverpool career.

Ward played 21 league games for Derek McInnes’ side whilst on loan and he managed to keep 10 clean sheets for an Aberdeen side that sit second in the Scottish Premiership table, just three points behind the reigning champions Celtic.
With Liverpool fans having very little confidence in both Mignolet and Bogdan, it is not beyond the realms of possibility to think that Ward has a huge chance to become the club’s number one at some stage this year.
