Sunderland boss Dick Advocaat is planning a loan swoop for out-of-favour Liverpool forward Fabio Borini.
According to The Guardian, Borini is being lined up by the Dutchman again after he initially lost interest in the player.
The report claims that Adam Johnson’s shoulder injury – which leaves him sidelined for two months – meant that Advocaat had another change of heart.

The former Roma hitman scored 10 goals in 40 appearances during the 2013-14 campaign on loan for the Black Cats but spurned the option to join the club last summer in a bid to save his Anfield career.
Advocaat prefers a 4-3-3 and sees the 24-year-old fit to play on the wing as he is not an out and out striker.
In his time at Sunderland on loan, Borini played most of his time on the left side of midfield.
The Dutchman is looking to sway the Italian into staying in the Premier League, despite reports linking him with a move to Italy.
Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers already has four strikers at his disposal in Christian Benteke, Daniel Sturridge, Danny Ings and Divock Origi.
Borini – who finds himself on the periphery with compatriot Mario Balotelli – has scored just three goals across 38 appearances in the two seasons at Liverpool that he wasn’t loaned away.
