Liverpool defender Dejan Lovren has heaped praise on his teammate Roberto Firmino, and says that there’s even more to come from the Brazilian.
Along with fellow countryman Philippe Coutinho and England international Adam Lallana, Firmino helped the Reds to outplay Manchester City and leave with a 4-1 victory that in some way flattered the hosts.
Liverpool could have scored six or seven if not for some good work from City ‘keeper Joe Hart as the front three deployed by Jurgen Klopp constantly had Manuel Pellegrini’s side under pressure.

Lovren, who is playing well after coming into the side in place of the injured Mamadou Sakho, said that Firmino clearly possesses quality, and that he’ll show that more and more as he settles into life in England.
Speaking to the Liverpool Echo, the Croatian centre-back said:
Roberto is growing.
We need to give him time as he’s settling into a new country.
But he has great talent. We see it every day in training and now we’re seeing it in the matches.
He caused City a lot of problems. He’s an unbelievable player. He has so much skill.
Roberto scored one and could even have got a hat-trick. He creates and he scores.
He has so much potential and I know he’s going to get better and better for us.
Liverpool face Bordeaux on Thursday and Swansea and Sunday, and could be without Coutinho for both games. The Brazilian definitely won’t play in the Europa League tie, but could return to face Garry Monk’s men at the weekend.
Either way, with Coutinho not at 100%, more responsibility could fall onto Firmino, who may find himself playing slightly deeper if Daniel Sturridge or Christian Benteke are brought into the fold.
