Liverpool have accepted a £15million bid from AFC Bournemouth for winger Jordon Ibe.
The 20-year-old was once thought of as one of the best young talents, not only at Liverpool, but in the whole of England.
However, his performances last year were below par and it seems that Jurgen Klopp has decided that he does not need the player in his squad next season.
As always when news regarding Liverpool FC breaks, Twitter was full of people offering their opinions on Ibe’s potential departure.
Here are just a few comments made by Reds fans on social media:
Twitter: £15m for Jordon Ibe? We’ll take that all day long. Was clear Klopp never really fancied him. I guess Markovic has a chance now. #LFC (@curtisofgeorge)
Twitter: I want Jordon Ibe to stay. If we do unfortunately sell him, hope we add a buy back clause. (@AnfieldRd96)
Twitter: Take it and run. #ibe (@Ste_Halliwell11)
Twitter: £15m for Jordon Ibe is a good deal for us. I kind of hope we get a buy back clause though, the lad still has potential. #LFC (@KeeperKarius)
Twitter: Hope we have a buy back clause in for #Ibe could be one for the future. Only 20 (@t_eaton12)
