Who was the standout player against Man United?

Liverpool put in a dominant performance to defeat Manchester United 2-0 in the first leg of their Europa League last 16 tie and in truth, the fact that they only scored twice will probably disappoint the Reds players when they look back at the game.

However, a 2-0 win over Man United is something that shouldn’t be sniffed at and manager Jurgen Klopp admitted that he’d have taken that result if it was offered to him before the game.

In terms of standout players for Liverpool, it’s difficult to pick just one, which is why we’ve created this Duel. We think there are at least a half-dozen players, maybe more, who deserve to be praised after such a convincing win.

Our Duel feature will present you with two players and you’ll just need to select which of the two you thought had a better game. You’ll then be able to see which players other supporters played well by checking out the leaderboard.

We’ll go through all of the players in a ‘winner stays on’ type vote, so, the player you click with the final vote should be your own Man of the Match.

So, without further ado, get voting!

*Note, we’ve left Divock Origi out of the voting as he only played the last six minutes.
