Liverpool take on Stoke City on Sunday afternoon in a fixture that, in truth, isn’t high on lots of Reds fans’ priority lists with the visit of Borussia Dortmund looming large.
It will be the fourth time that the two clubs have met this term, having faced off on the opening day of the Premier League season at the Britannia Stadium, and in a two-legged Capital One Cup semi-final tie.
The Reds have had the better of Mark Hughes’ side this term, gaining revenge after the embarrassment they suffered at the hands of Stoke in May.
