A week or so ago, we ran a competition on our Twitter feed where we gave away some BassBuds headphones and a BassBoomz speaker to one of our followers.
The competition was very popular, and it was unfortunate that we could only give this boss prize to one of the hundreds of people who entered.
However, we’ve now teamed up with BassBuds to bring you a special offer. If you click here, and enter the code BIB20 when you purchase, you can receive 20% off your order price.
Anybody who listens to our podcast or follows me on Twitter – @stehoare if you’re not (why not by the way?) – will know that I’m a pretty straight shooting person. I call a spade a spade, I’m not really one for bullshit and me and technology aren’t exactly best friends.
So when you read my product review of these headphones and speakers, please take my word that I’m not just saying positive things to curry favour or to persuade you into buying the products. I’m simply giving my opinion.
Let me start by saying I think both the headphones an speakers are great. I like to listen to podcasts and music when I’m out and about, I’m one of those fellas you’ll see around town with his head down and headphones in, doing my best to get to where I need to be, getting what I need to get without chit chat. It’s not that I’m anti-social, I’m just always pressed for time! I’ve worn many sets of in-ear headphones before, and I can honestly say that none of them block out background noise as well as my BassBuds. The sound quality is genuinely amazing. So if you want to listen to my dulcet tones on TBT Talks while out and about, I suggest you try them.
As for the BassBoomz speaker, well firstly I was taken aback by how loud the sound can be considering it’s actually quite a small product. The fact that even I easily figured out how to play my music wirelessly through it shows that it’s pretty straightforward to use!
I’m not really one for wearing tonnes of club branded gear and all that, it’s not my cup of tea. However I don’t mind wearing these headphones. They’re hardly a walking LFC billboard, and the Liverpool branding is very smart and quite understated.
If you’re looking to invest in new headphones or speakers and you have the money, or you’re looking to get somebody you know a decent Crimbo prezzie, trust me when I say you can’t go wrong with these products. The fact you can save 20% on orders between now & the end of November is a decent little bonus too.
