Liverpool capitulated again away from home, conceding early and getting bullied around the park by the home side.
Predictable as it was painful, West Ham defended well and broke forward with pace and power, crossing balls in and climbing to get a head on them for the finish.
Devoid of ideas and looking jaded amidst this intense run of fixtures, the thin squad seems short on quality, as much as fight.
No one played exceptionally well and a chance to win three in a row for the new boss went wasted.
