According to Andy Hunter of the Guardian, Norwich City are on the verge of completing the season-long loan signing of Liverpool youngster Andre Wisdom for a reported £1.25m loan fee.
This will be the 22 year old’s third loan spell in three years, after his spells at Derby County and West Bromwich Albion.
Wisdom made 24 appearances for the Baggies last season, he started well under Alan Irvine but lost his first team place after the appointment of Tony Pulis.
This deal has come out of nowhere, with Wisdom only linked with a return to Pride Park with Derby County in recent weeks, however it now looks like he’ll stay in the Premier League.
Wisdom recently signed a new deal with Liverpool that lasts until 2019, but will spend yet another season away from the club.
Liverpool have been linked with a move for French fullback Lucas Digne, and that will be given more credence now that the club are letting another full back leave.
