Carlos Bacca looks set to stay at Sevilla.
It was reported yesterday that striker Carlos Bacca was a target for Liverpool, however Bacca has told Marca that he is happy at Sevilla and is not thinking about any potential offers that may come in for him later this summer.
“…I am happy here and I am one hundred percent focused on what remains this season.”
The Colombian has scored 47 goals in just over 100 appearances for the Andalusian club and that sort of form has engaged interest from a number of Premier League clubs including Liverpool, Manchester United and Arsenal.
Despite the 28-year-old admitting that Sevilla are a selling club, he remains hopeful of staying in the La Liga next season.
“Everything is in the hands of the directors and the coaching staff, whether or not they count on me [for next season].”
