Mario Balotelli, who is on loan at AC Milan, says he has no desire to go back to his parent club Liverpool next season.
The 25-year-old was signed last summer from Milan for a fee of around £16million but failed to make a major impact at Liverpool and was allowed to leave on loan by former manager Brendan Rodgers.
Jurgen Klopp has given a lot of his players a chance to prove themselves but it was unlikely that he’d have wanted to keep Balotelli anyway, so it looks inevitable that the Italian international won’t be at Anfield next year.
As reported by Football Italia, Balotelli said:

What I want is certainly to stay at Milan. I was not happy at Liverpool and I do not want to go back there. I’ve been doing well in my last two games, there are another six for me to prove myself. I feel in good shape physically at last and am relaxed. Besides, Milan have the money!
The report goes on to say that Balotelli could go back to Milan for as little as £5million, which would represent a huge loss for Liverpool, especially as there have been reports of interest from Chinese clubs, who’d likely pay a lot more for him.
