Barcelona are preparing a €120 million offer to revive their attempts to sign Liverpool star man Philippe Coutinho in January, according to the Mirror.
The Catalan giants have seen three bids fail so far but Ernesto Valverde still wants to land the Brazilian midfielder.
However, things may not be as easy as hoped for Barcelona. They face competition for his signature from the likes of PSG, with compatriot Neymar doing his best to convince his fellow countryman about a move to the French capital.
Coutinho came close to a move away from Anfield, handing in a transfer request this summer in an attempt to seal a move to Barcelona. But according to Le 10 Sport, Brazil team-mate Neymar intends to spoil his old club’s chances of signing Coutinho by urging his friend to join him at PSG.
Neymar has already had conversations with Coutinho over a move, informing PSG of the progress being made according to the French outlet.
PSG signed Neymar in a world record €222 million deal that saw him move to Ligue 1 in the summer, a move that dominated the headlines and shocked world football.
