Liverpool youngster Curtis Jones has won the the player of the tournament award at the UAE Sports Chain Cup in Dubai.
Jones was representing England’s U18s in the competition, with the Three Lions beating Mexico 3-2 on Sunday.
It was the midfielder’s winning goal that sealed second place for England, as his reputation continues to soar.
Jones also provided an assist for Arsenal youngster Folarin Balogun, while fellow Reds hopeful Rhys Williams was sent-off late on.
One of the most highly-rated teenagers in English football, Jones has gone from strength to strength in recent times.
Prodigiously gifted and with a cocksure air about him, Jurgen Klopp is thought to rate him hugely, and he could become a regular first-team member next season.
Jones has already made the leap from the U18s to the U23s at Anfield, where he has not looked remotely out of place.
He made his full Reds debut in the FA Cup defeat away to Wolves in January.
