Reports emerging in Spain on Wednesday morning have suggested that Roberto Firmino could be ruled out of tonight’s game.
According to Spanish newspaper Cadena Ser, as cited on TEAMtalk, the player has failed a late fitness test and is unlikely to feature at the Nou Camp.
There had been doubts surrounding the Brazilian’s fitness ahead of the game, but he was named in the travelling 23-man squad, despite missing the most recent Premier League win over Huddersfield.

Firmino even trained at Melwood ahead of the midweek game, making the player’s fitness even more of mystery as he battles a groin problem.
With the reports coming from Spain, it remains to be seen if the player will start on Wednesday.
Should he miss the game, it is being claimed that either Divock Origi will be handed a surprise start, or Xherdan Shaqiri could be brought in, with Mohamed Salah likely to play a more central role against the Spanish giants.
