Steven Gerrard will take part in next month’s Liverpool FC Legends game against AC Milan Glorie, the club have confirmed.
The charity match takes place at Anfield on Saturday, March 23 (3pm GMT) and pits a host of former greats alongside one another.
It is a repeat contest of the 2005 and 2007 Champions League finals, with both teams winning one apiece.
The Reds already have the likes of Jamie Carragher, Sami Hyypia and Robbie Fowler taking part and Gerrard will represent his former club, too.

The Rangers boss remains a high-quality footballer, as he showed during a star showing in a legends clash with Real Madrid in 2017.
Milan are also bringing a star-studded group of players with them to Merseyside.
Legendary defenders Cafu, Paolo Maldini and Alessandro Nesta will all be present, while Andrea Pirlo and Kaka will be strutting their stuff further up the pitch.
Gerrard’s involvement has given the game an extra sprinkling of stardust and he will be one of the main men on show at Anfield.
