Liverpool have been dealt another potential injury blow with the news that Jordan Henderson is struggling with a calf problem.
The Telegraph‘s Chris Bascombe reports that the Reds skipper is a doubt for Saturday’s Premier League trip to Brighton.
Henderson will undergo a fitness test on Friday to determine whether or not he will be involved at the Amex Stadium.
The injury issues are starting to pile up for the Reds, with the likes of Joe Gomez, Joel Matip and Dejan Lovren all sidelined.
That means Fabinho is likely to start at centre-back alongside Virgil van Dijk, having impressed there in the FA Cup third round defeat at Wolves on Monday.

With Henderson a likely absentee, Naby Keita may have to step up in midfield, having struggled to make a significant impact this season.
James Milner is also an option in the middle of the park, but he played all 90 minutes against Wolves and has looked tired of late.
The trip to Brighton is another huge game for Liverpool, as they look to extend their lead at the top of the Premier League.
Victory at the Amex would take Jurgen Klopp’s side seven points clear of Manchester City, who host Wolves on Monday night.
Brighton have the best home record outside of the so-called ‘Big Six’, however, so the Reds will have to play well to come away with all three points.
