Jordan Henderson believes Mohamed Salah has the same strength of character as former Liverpool great Luis Suarez.
Salah has found himself coming in for criticism this season, with many of the view that he is going down too easily to win penalties.
Having been such a universally likeable figure last season, it has seen his popularity drop, whether harshly or not.
Salah has been booed by away supporters – something the controversial Suarez endlessly experienced during his time at Anfield.
Speaking to the Liverpool Echo, Henderson has said that the criticism will only inspire Salah to play better, as was the case with his former teammate Suarez:

Yeah, Mo’s the same.
He’s got this very strong mentality. If they try to put pressure on him, they will only make him better.
The more people are against him, the more he will want to prove them wrong.
Salah has the comfort is being at home this weekend, as Liverpool host Crystal Palace at Anfield.
The current negative press coming his way seems harsh, and you have to wonder if it would be different if the Reds weren’t top of the Premier League.
