Liverpool return to Premier League action tomorrow with a visit from Newcastle United at Anfield.
The Reds go into the game off of the back of a tough 1-1 draw with Leeds United on Monday.
Yesterday saw the likes of Nathaniel Phillips and Curtis Jones make their returns from injury.
However, star forward Diogo Jota was missing from training, eluding to rumours he could be nursing another injury…
As cited by Anfield Watch above, the Liverpool Echo reported that Jota was not pictured to be taking part in the session.
It sparks a real worry for the club given Jota’s fine form for the Reds this season.
Jota has been a fantastic signing for the club since joining in September, with him managing some big goals.
Liverpool still has a fantastic choice in the attacking department with Sadio Mané, Mohamed Salah, and Roberto Firmino.
The trio have been unbelievable for the Reds and will always deliver when asked.
However, having Jota out of the picture is a real struggle given what he has managed to bring to our front line.
Not just for the club, but for the player himself after already spending almost three months on the sideline this season.
Hopefully, there is a separate reason for Jota’s absence yesterday and he will feature against Newcastle.
