Jurgen Klopp has ruled out a sensational Anfield return for former Reds star Philippe Coutinho.
Liverpool have been heavily linked with a shock move for the Brazilian in recent weeks, with Barcelona reportedly willing to sell the 27-year-old to fund a move for Paris Saint-Germain star Neymar ahead of the new season.

Coutinho, who spent five years on Merseyside before leaving for the Nou Camp, has struggled in Spain and has failed to make the impact many expected with the Catalan giants.
As a result of his poor form, many Reds supporters have been urging the club to bring the playmaker back to Merseyside to bolster Liverpool’s attacking options.
However, talking to ESPN, cited by the Metro, Klopp ended the heavy speculation by confirming a big-money move for the player wouldn’t take place over the coming weeks.
In general, Phil Coutinho helps each team in the world, still – 100%.
It’s not about that. I like Phil, I think he’s a fantastic footballer and all that stuff, but it would be a big, big, big, big, big, big, big, big-money signing and it’s not our year for that.
It’s just not possible. As I said, having him would make each team better – us included – but I really hope that he finds his luck at Barcelona.
Klopp is thought to be keen on a move for a marquee signing before the window shuts, however, there won’t be a return to Anfield for Coutinho this year.
