Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has dismissed talk that forward Roberto Firmino will miss the remainder of the season.
The German coach appeared confident that the Brazilian would be available for the Reds’ Champions League tie next week.
Rumours had circulated that the 27-year old had suffered a serious injury, and with Firmino having been left out of Liverpool’s match-day squad for Friday night’s game against Huddersfield, rumours had picked up more steam.

However, Klopp had alleviated the worries, with the striker sure to be a pivotal member of the Reds’ chances at the Nou Camp next week.
As reported by Mirror Sport, Klopp said:
Yesterday after training he mentioned a little muscle issue.
We assess it obviously. It’s not a big thing, enough to leave him out today, that’s all.
