Jurgen Klopp “will not entertain offers” from Real Madrid, according to the Telegraph.
The Spanish giants have suffered one of the worst weeks in their history, being knocked out of the Champions League and Copa del Rey, as well as essentially the La Liga title race.
Two of those defeats came at the hands of bitter rivals Barcelona, both at home, while Ajax stunned them with a 4-1 win at Santiago Bernabeu on Tuesday night.
Current Madrid boss Santiago Solari will be replaced ahead of next season, leading to a number of candidates being discussed.
Klopp was predictably rumoured as the club’s first-choice to come in and take the role, but he will reject any interest that comes his way.
The 51-year-old is “committed to Liverpool”, as he looks to continue taking them forward.
Klopp’s current deal at Anfield runs until 2022 and he could extend his stay further down the line.
He is still looking for his first piece of silverware at the club, but the job he is doing remains superb, regardless.
