Liverpool will look to maintain their perfect record in the UEFA Champions League when they take on Fenerbahce tomorrow.
The Reds have already beaten Atletico Madrid, LASK and Villarreal and will aim to make it through to the Round of 16 directly by finishing in the top eight.
In recent weeks, Andoni Iraola has had to deal with his fair share of injuries but welcomed back Dom Szoboszlai and Victor Munoz vs Arsenal.
Now, however, it has been confirmed that Ryan Gravenberch will not be available tomorrow due to a heel injury.
Liverpool midfielder Ryan Gravenberch injured
“Ryan Gravenberch has been ruled out of Liverpool’s Champions League fixture at Fenerbahce,” said Liverpool via their official website.
“A heel injury means the midfielder will not be part of the Reds’ travelling squad for Wednesday’s meeting with the Turkish side in Istanbul.
“He will instead remain at the AXA Training Centre to undergo treatment with the club’s medical team.”
Gravenberch was an unused substitute vs Arsenal and will miss the game tomorrow. Judging by the phrasing of the club’s officials, it doesn’t appear to be a serious injury.
Expect Alexis Mac Allister and Szoboszlai to start at the heart of the midfield, while Trey Nyoni will also be in line for a start after his impressive display vs Arsenal.
