Get French Football are reporting that Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool have enquired about the availability of newly-relegated Newcastle United midfielder, Moussa Sissoko.

The report goes on to add that talks are still to be held between the two parties, with Sissoko weighing up his options knowing that several clubs are interested in his services, including fellow Premier League side Arsenal.
Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund are also said to be weighing up a potential bid for the Newcastle winger, whose efforts couldn’t help the Toon avoid relegation from the English top-flight last campaign.
Rafael Benitez’s side are aware of the interest in their player, and value Sissoko at around £23m, which seems way too much for Liverpool to play.
Frenchman Sissoko has featured in 113 games for Newcastle United, netting 11 times since making the switch from Ligue 1 side Toulouse in 2013.
The 26-year-old is still on duty with the French national team at the European Championships.
