A number of Liverpool fans are angry after it was revealed Diogo Jota will definitely miss Sunday’s clash with Fulham, and could be out for a longer period of time.
The Reds head to Craven Cottage this weekend, in what has to be considered a must-win Premier League game, given the hosts’ 17th-place position in the table.
Jurgen Klopp will have to make do without Jota for the match, however, with Times‘ Paul Joyce confirming on Twitter that he has picked up a knee injury.
The club are still waiting to know the full extent of the problem, which is alarming for anyone of a Reds persuasion.
Jota has been a revelation for Liverpool since arriving from Wolves during the summer transfer window, scoring nine goals in 17 appearances.
These Reds supporters were in negative spirits on Twitter after hearing the news, with many deeply frustrated with Klopp for playing him in the dead rubber against Midtjylland.

When’s it gonna end Robbie?

Sorry but absolutely all on Klopp. Playing him midweek was brainless. The squad is already paper thin due to injuries.

Klopp doesn't have a leg to stand on with this one. Ridiculous decision to play such a strong team

Only ourselves to blame for this one I’m afraid, playing so many for so many minutes in a meaningless game was absolute bonkers on Wednesday.
