Some Liverpool fans have been lauding Harvey Elliott after more goalscoring brilliance for Blackburn Rovers.
The 17-year-old joined Liverpool from Fulham last season, arriving as one of the most exciting young British players in the country.
Elliott showcased his quality sporadically last season, being given opportunities in the Carabao Cup mainly, but also appearing in the Premier League.
Jurgen Klopp found it difficult to promise the forward regular minutes in 2020/21, however, instead joining Championship club Blackburn on a season-long loan.
Elliott has been in blistering form for his current club, scoring and registering four goals and assists apiece.
His latest strike came on Wednesday night, at the same time that Liverpool were beating Tottenham to go top of the Premier League.
Elliott fired home the equaliser in Blackburn’s 2-1 win at home to Rotherham United, again showing what a great addition he has been.
