Southampton’s Nathaniel Clyne has emerged as a target for Liverpool.
With Glen Johnson leaving the club and Emre Can uncomfortable at right back (albeit not his position), Rodgers feels that the right back area needs to be filled with a more convincing full back.
Once again, Liverpool have targeted a player from Southampton and have had a bid of £10 million rejected, as reported by Tony Barrett.
However, it is also reported that Liverpool will come back with an improved offer for the England international.
Clyne is also a target for Manchester United and it will be interesting to see how this one pans out.
