Jurgen Klopp has urged his Liverpool team to play like they did against Bournemouth for the rest of the season.
The Reds were superb in their 3-0 victory over the Cherries last Saturday, playing a vibrant brand of attacking football that became the norm in 2017/18.
A more pragmatic approach has often been on show this season, with attacking flair replaced by defensive solidity.
That has helped Liverpool get themselves right in the Premier League title race, sitting level on points with leaders Manchester City, with a game in hand.
Klopp told Liverpoolfc.com that he wants to see his side’s performances replicate that of the Bournemouth game between now and May:

I was so happy about the Bournemouth game, and not because of the result, that was important as well, but about the way we played in that game was so important to us because it was only after three weeks a little reminder: ‘Right, that’s how we can play as well.’
I get that people start doubting pretty much immediately: ‘What happens now we didn’t win against Leicester?’ I think that was a difficult game for different reasons and then West Ham, we didn’t play well.
That’s the truth but we still got a point and then against Bournemouth, a really good game.
And now that’s the way we want to play, we have to be lively. Lively and full of confidence you can only be if you really believe in what you do, that’s the truth.
The Reds have a rare weekend off because of FA Cup fifth round action, with Klopp and his players enjoying a training camp in Marbella currently.
They host Bayern Munich in the first leg of their Champions League last-16 clash on Tuesday, before a vital trip to Man United in the Premier League a week on Sunday.
