Liverpool have been in a contract struggle with Emre Can over the last 18 months but with no resolution on the horizon, the Reds are seemingly prepared to take matters into their own hands.
With his contract set to expire at the end of the season and clubs able to open pre-contract negotiations from January, Liverpool have come to terms with the fact that Can will be leaving the club and have put a price-tag on his shoulders.
According to Calciomercato, Liverpool are reportedly willing to accept an offer over €10m for the Germany international in the January transfer window to ensure they don’t lose him for nothing in the summer.

One could put together an argument that Liverpool are beginning to faze Can out of the side with the knowledge that he could well be off sooner or later. Having started seven of the first nine Premier League games of the season, Can has only started three of the last seven in the league.
The 23-year-old arrived from Bayer Leverkusen in 2014 for just €12m and has become a regular in the Liverpool midfield in the last 18 months but it appears the club are resigned to losing him.
Juventus have made signing Can a top priority with a five-year contract worth €5m-a-year reportedly agreed, but their Serie A rivals Inter Milan are also keen, while Premier League outfits Manchester United and Chelsea have been linked in recent months.
