Liverpool sign new shirt deal

Liverpool FC today announced a multi-year partnership with American sports manufacturer New Balance. From the 2015-16 seasons, New Balance will be the club’s official kit supplier, taking over current brand Warrior.

New Balance is the parent company of the previously mentioned Warrior. This record breaking partnership will also see New Balance become responsible for the club’s training apparel.

Chief commercial officer Billy Hogan told Liverpoolfc.com:

“We are thrilled to announce this partnership with one of the world’s leading sportswear brands, which is a record-breaking deal for the club. Like Liverpool FC, New Balance has more than 100 years of heritage and a global footprint. Not only are they well known for their technical innovation across a range of sports but they also have a presence in many countries across the world, which will all feature LFC kit. We are very excited about joining forces with them.”

A release date for the new Liverpool kits have yet to be announced but supposed leaks have already been on social media. Richard Wright, who is a general manager of New Balance Football, assured that the fans would be happy with they get.

“Over the course of the contract, New Balance will bring innovation and world-class product to Liverpool FC and its global fan base,” Wright said.

New Balance Football will also be producing kits for Stoke City, Porto and Sevilla. Along with that, there products will be sported by a number of footballers including Aarom Ramsey, Vincent Kompany and Marouane Fellaini.
