And now, reports from Spain have confirmed that he has decided to move to France, with a move set to be formalised soon.

He has just a year left on his current deal at Barcelona, with Hansi Flick’s side eager to keep him for the forthcoming season at least.

Sport report that he has said ‘yes’ to PSG’s offer and will look to finalise a move to the French capital before he reports back to pre-season training for Barcelona next week.

Earlier this week, Torres admitted that he’s open to leaving Barcelona and just wants to be happy playing football.

It won’t be at Anfield, though, as Spain’s World Cup hero will now take his services to France.
