Adrien Rabiot will meet with Paris Saint-Germain for talks regarding his future this week, according to Sport.
The Frenchman has rejected a new deal with the Ligue 1 club this summer and has not featured since December.
He was even denied entry to PSG’s facilities earlier this month.
Rabiot is almost certain to leave when his current contract expires at the end of the season.
Liverpool are one of those to have been linked with signing him in the summer, with Jurgen Klopp potentially looking to boost his midfield options.
Barcelona are another to have expressed an interest, although they have acquired the services of Ajax star Frenkie de Jong.
Rabiot is set to meet with PSG on Wednesday, as both parties look to come to an agreement.
His contract could be ended prematurely if the meeting is conducted amicably.
More will become clearer after Wednesday, but Liverpool will be eyeing up the situation.
