Liverpool have been told to move quickly if they want to sign Roma midfielder Kevin Strootman, according to Calcio Mercato.
The Italian outlet report that Inter Milan are set to pay the Dutch midfielder’s €45 million release clause immenently, meaning if Liverpool want the midfielder, they would have to move fast.
Strootman missed last night’s Champions League Semi Final second leg defeat against the Reds with a knee injury.

However, Inter would need to qualify for the Champions League to be able to afford to pay the release clause and they currently sit fifth with three games to go in the Italian Serie A.
Strootman has been linked with a move to England before, but injuries have delayed said move from happening.
However, with clubs such as Liverpool, Manchester United and Inter now all trying to sign the Dutchman, this could be the time that Strootman finally leaves Roma for pastures new.
