One year ago today (25th June), Liverpool managed their first ever Premier League title and first title in 30 years.

The Reds’ last league title came during the 1989/90 season when captained by Scottish defender Alan Hansen.

However, their wait finally came to an end after a stellar campaign, totalling an incredible 99 points from 38 games.

This included an incredible 32 games won, with just three draws and three losses.

Individuals such as Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino, and Sadio Mané beat the odds to take Liverpool to the top.

It was a fantastic season for the club, with the Liverpool Twitter account reminding us of that incredible feet this morning…

It is a strange feeling knowing that it has already been a whole year since the clubs triumph in the league.

At one point in history, it felt as though the club may never be able to reach that feet.

Despite the doubts and fears, Jurgen Klopp’s appointment in 2015 was a stroke of genius by the owners.

The German managed to transform the entire club, not just the squad, with them returning to the pinnacle of English football.

Not only that, but Klopp has made Liverpool a European powerhouse once again – and their presence is well known.

With superstars such as Salah, Mané, Firmino, Virgil van Dijk, Fabinho, and many more, Klopp has done wonders.

Hopefully, we will see the club replicate their incredible achievement once again next season.
