Liverpool have received an enormous boost with the news that Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is nearing a shock return from injury.
The Liverpool Echo report that the 25-year-old could return to full training as early as mid to late February.
Oxlade-Chamberlain has been missing for the Reds since last April, when he picked up a cruciate ligament injury in the Champions League semi-final first leg against Roma.
Jurgen Klopp and his squad are currently on a training camp in Dubai, where the ex-Arsenal man has been taking part in light training exercises.

Liverpool are still “reluctant” to rush the midfielder back too soon, but having been expected to miss the entire 2018/19 campaign, this is a huge positive.
He will potentially be available for the second leg of the Champions League last-16 clash with Bayern Munich in March.
It should also mean Oxlade-Chamberlain will play a part in Liverpool’s Premier League title run-in, crucially giving Klopp more options.
He became a key man this time last year and his direct style in the middle of the park has been badly missed, despite the Reds’ stunning season to date.
All of a sudden, it feels as though Liverpool have gained an extra player from nowhere.
