Paris Saint-Germain have joined the race to sign Ajax youngster David Neres, according to UOL, via Sport Witness.
Liverpool have been linked with acquiring the Brazilian’s signature this summer, although an official approach has not yet taken place.
The Reds’ Merseyside rivals Everton are also believed to be candidates to snap him up, following a superb season with Ajax.
While talks with PSG appear to be in the ‘advanced’ stage of proceedings, there are doubts surrounding a potential move to Parc des Princes.
Neres wants to join a club where he is guaranteed regular football, which may not happen at the Ligue 1 champions with the likes of Kylian Mbappe, Neymar, Angel Di Maria and Edinson Cavani around.
Should one be sold, however, with Di Maria the favourite in that respect, that could change things.
Neres has scored 12 goals in 46 appearances for Ajax this season, as the Dutch side entertained Europe with their scintillating Champions League performances.
