Liverpool target Nicolas Tagliafico’s agent has confirmed that his client is looking to leave Ajax this summer.
The defender has recently been linked with a move away from Amsterdam, and the Reds are among the potential suitors.
Jurgen Klopp may be keen to strengthen his options at left-back, as Alberto Moreno’s contract expires at the end of the season. This would leave Andy Robertson as the only senior option in the position.
Tagliafico, therefore, could be targeted by Liverpool as they bid to strengthen the ranks in what promises to be a vital summer transfer window.
A host of clubs will undoubtedly be keeping tabs on the progress of the Argentina international, who has enjoyed yet another impressive season for Ajax in both the Eredivisie and in the Champions League.

Ricardo Schlieper, who represents Tagliafico, was recently quizzed about his client’s future and admitted that he is on the lookout for a ‘new experience in a different league’.
As quoted by Italian news outlet Di Marzio, the agent said:
He believes that the time has come to try a new experience in a different league. He wants to keep improving and I already turned down a significant contract extension [from Ajax].
There are several teams that made enquiries for him, especially teams that will play in next season’s Champions League, but it’s too soon to say where he will play next season.
Ajax want a significant amount of money for him, and that will definitely scare some clubs off, but we have to take into account that Nicolas is playing a sensational season, in the league as well as in Europe.
And he is also the captain of the Argentinian national team when [Lionel] Messi is not there.
