Premier League side Liverpool are keeping a close eye on Ajax left-back Nicolas Tagliafico, according to a report on the Mirror.
The Argentina international has been impressive this season and has been one of Ajax’s main players in this season’s UEFA Champions League.

The Reds want to strengthen their squad this summer and with back-up left-back Alberto Moreno set to leave, Tagliafico could be targeted to provide competition for the reliable Andy Robertson.
Tagliafico himself is open to making a move to the Premier League. He said:
I think in the summer it could be a natural time to take the step. But I try not to think about taking that step just yet because we have many important games to focus on.
Yes, it’s flattering [the links to English clubs] because I think it’s the most competitive league. When you are a child, the target is to come to Europe and play in a top league like the Premier League.
Fellow Premier League club Arsenal are also being heavily linked with the adventurous full-back. Ajax will reportedly only consider negotiating if an offer of over €20m is made.
