Liverpool’s Ryan Kent is in high demand this summer with multiple teams interested in the youngster.
However, Steven Gerrard has told Sky Sports that he believes Kent might stay with Liverpool for the upcoming 2019/20 campaign.
Last season, Kent enjoyed a season-long loan with Gerrard at Scottish Premiership giants Rangers and under the ex-Liverpool youth coach he was very successful – which has sparked interest from other clubs including Leeds United and newly-promoted Aston Villa.

Liverpool’s asking price is £12 million, a fee that may put clubs off a permanent deal this summer.
Gerrard is hopeful the winger will be sent out on loan again, which could result in a return to Rangers, but he is aware there is likely to be competition and understands is all up to Liverpool:
There’s always competition for top players. Yes, we would like Ryan Kent back but the reality is he’s Liverpool’s player, so we have to respect that.
Jurgen Klopp, I’m sure, will want to take a look at Ryan so we’ll respect Liverpool’s decision on which direction they want to take on the situation but we are at the table.
After the season Kent has had with Rangers making 23 appearances, scoring six times and assisting six goals, it is a major step up from his previous loan spell at Bristol City, which did not end well.
Following his impressive form, Liverpool may want to have a look at him and not make a rushed decision about his future.
