RB Leipzig forward Timo Werner has rejected the chance to join Bayern Munich this summer and has also reiterated his desire to secure a transfer to Liverpool.
As reported by BILD, the 24-year-old, who has been linked with a move to Liverpool for many months, is keen to make a move to Anfield as he wants to work under manager Jurgen Klopp.
More than a few players, such as Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Gini Wijnaldum have referenced the chance to work with Klopp as a major factor for joining Liverpool in the past and it looks like Werner is the latest player to be attracted by the possibility of playing for his German compatriot.
Werner has now ruled out the possibility of joining another club in Germany, so his options are now to either stay at Leipzig or make a move abroad and his preferred option would be to join Liverpool.

Whether Liverpool will be interested in signing Werner is still unknown, and considering the current global events, it would be unwise to predict the completion of any transfer with any amount of certainty.
However, if the Reds are in the market for a forward this summer, it looks like there is a deal to be done for Werner.
The German has scored 27 goals for Leipzig this season and added a further 13 assists and those type of numbers, could he replicate them in England, could help take Liverpool to an even higher level than they are currently at.
