Liverpool have been linked in recent weeks with a sensational move for Leicester City star Youri Tielemans.
The Reds are on the lookout for a replacement for Gini Wijnaldum after the Dutchman left the club as a free agent at the end of the 2020/21 campaign.
Somewhat audaciously the currently most prominent name linked with the role is the 24-year-old Foxes’ midfielder.
Now, the chances of a deal have been handed a further boost by Belgian football journalist Sven Claes, who told Empire of the Kop, as cited by The Anfield Talk on Twitter, that he expects Tielemans to move on this summer.

Claes went on to describe the 39-cap star as an ‘absolute talent with an excellent mentality’, before claiming Manchester United and a ‘Spanish top team’ are also interested.
Tielemans is currently away with the Belgium Euro 2020 squad and is expected to play a huge role for the world ranked number one side.
In 2020/21, Leicester’s FA Cup final hero scored nine times and registered six assists in an astounding 51 appearances in all competitions – highlighting the ace’s impeccable availability.

Signing Tielemans would be an outstanding piece of business from the Reds this summer.
Having already shored up the defence with the arrival of Ibrahima Konate, landing the Belgian alongside an additional attacking option would be the ideal transfer window.
An outstanding midfielder, the £49.5million valued Tielemans has to be one of the hottest properties in the Premier League – in particular out of those without Champions League football on the horizon.
