Liverpool have reportedly been dealt a blow in their potential pursuit of Fiorentina striker Dusan Vlahovic.
The Reds are one of a number of clubs linked with a move for the 21-year-old Serbian ace but could now be gazumped.
According to a report from Tuttosport, Serie A giants Juventus have shown an interest and Vlahovic would be keen on the switch.
This comes following a Tweet from reputable journalist Fabrizio Romano citing the Serb’s contractual dilemma as well as his stellar form.
Last season the powerful frontman was in sensational form, scoring 21 goals in 37 league outings.
So far this term Vlahovic has continued that imperious record by netting 10 times in 12 appearances across all competitions.

Prizing the 12-cap Serbian international always seemed a daunting task for the Reds – even more so now.
Often Italian clubs have sold to the giants of the nation in order to maintain good relations and unfortunately, this could be the case once again here.
Capable of operating in a similar system to how Jurgen Klopp deploys his side, Vlahovic would bring a whole new threat to the attacking ranks at Anfield.
Valued at £45million and under contract in Florence until 2023 (Transfermarkt), it’s believed Fiorentina will demand a fee in the region of £70million for their prized asset – a fee Liverpool should jump at.
